QUIZ RECAP

I was glad to be back at Flatstick Pub after a week off and I was happy to see a room full of eager minds looking to test their trivia might!  Rounds tonight ranged from Stranger Things to that venerable wordsmith Dr Seuss.  Team Cheddar Traditioñal (my former friendly nemeses from Campus Brewing, RIP) got off to a strong in our first round with a successful double or nothing.  That lead was able to carry them through much of the game, but multiple teams game them a run for their money, including teams Arnold Palmer, Team Rocket, and Goon Platoon.  While first place was a near certainty, the battle for second and third place came down to our final round, which asked our teams about the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the letters that used to adorn the Hollywood sign (in the Hollywood days of yore it said HOLLYWOODLAND).

In the end, Cheddar Traditioñal took the first place (as well as a $30 gift card for Flatstick Pub), Arnold Palmer took second place (and the $20 gift card), while Goon Platoon took third place (and the $10 gift card).  Come around on Tuesdays at 7:00 for drinks, food, mini golf, and (most importantly, if you ask me) trivia!
