Located in the heart of the West 3rd St. corridor, between Orlando and Sweetzer. Goal Sports Cafe was established to provide a great sports experience. With good people, great food and drinks and an entertainment system second only to being at the game.
We had an extremely joyful night at GOAL with our lovely regular teams -- and a very fun bonding time during our Survey Slam Drinking Round.
Here are some memorable facts we learned as I went from booth to booth, asking about what members of each team did over the weekend.
I Lost My Virginity At...: 1 bought a house in Beverly Hills and is moving there. (And also drinks on him next round, right???) and 1 bought a house in Beverlywood.
Mark Dellham Sucks: Maddie went to Seattle, Cameron drove into a Tesla window (eek!), and another team member totes smashed Sunday productivity levels by doing all his laundry and folding shirts and steaming work clothes.
Toby Rollers celebrated Rosh Hashanah!
Spicey Meat-a-Ball's Jasmine also did laundry, I heard an 8PM Saturday bedtime for 5AM golf Sunday, and their newest team member got a free ticket to see DeadMaus at the Palladium.
And GOAL Regulators regaled us of a story that was neither laundry nor steaming shirts nor 8pm bedtime-related. Our GOAL rep volunteered up a story of blacking out in Santa Monica, then riding that Ferris Wheel on the boardwalk. Very memorable way to close off September.
And me? What did I do? Well I went up to SF for my mom's birthday AND also celebrated Bruce Bochy's retirement as manager of the Giants (#thankuBoch) AND had amazing KBBQ.
Really phenomenal drinking round! Love it when we get to know each other!

And the teams that looked closely enough for The Princess Bride to see that six finger hand silhouette and the couple above the crown.
And the teams that figured out the CLUBS for the connection. (Yes, it was hard. And yes, King Trivia got accused of trolling everyone with this round's connection.)
And congrats to GOAL for their win of the night, Mark Dellham Sucks coming in second, and Toby Rollers getting their swag for third!
