Located in the heart of the West 3rd St. corridor, between Orlando and Sweetzer. Goal Sports Cafe was established to provide a great sports experience. With good people, great food and drinks and an entertainment system second only to being at the game.
According to one team, this was the HARDEST trivia they've ever had to do! That means it was a tough game, but teams really pulled out the wins in every single round!
Round one stumped a lot of people with asking what animal was Jeremiah in the song "Joy to the World." I saw answers like dog, cat and mouse, but the answer of course was Bull Dog. Treated everyone to a version of this line sung by me, something I'm sure they would rather have left out!
Round two was my FAVORITE ROUND, as a musical theater nerd and fan of bad cinema, asking to name the actors associated with Cats was a dream. Teams did amazing with Mark Dellham Sucks, Baby Yoda 2.0, Winners, I Lost My Virginity At..., AND Epstein Didn't Kill Himself doubling with 16 points!
Our drinking round asked participants to identify the age of the oldest tree, a bristlecone which is an impressive 4,845 years old. Winners took the *win* and got themselves a free round and a little more knowledge about trees! They also took first place with 75 points with I Lost My Virginity At... with 72 and Mark Dellham Sucks with 64.
In the end, this game inspired the teams to read more with Round 6 and eat more fruits with Round 7. As a whole, I think King Trivia is doing its part to promote a happy and healthy 2020. Thanks for coming everyone, hope you had a great time!
