Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. Lots of Beliebers in the crowd tonight with a Justin Bieber themed bonus round. The Diggle Bicks won some free beer by being ridiculously close to guessing the word BABY is heard 56 times throughout Bieber’s hit song. 

There was a good amount social commentary with our team names tonight. It was only fitting that the team “How Come They Have History, But Not Herstory” took first place the week leading up to the women’s march. We’ll see if they can march back to Grunions next week to defend their title.
