Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. We had a fun night of SILENT Trivia despite a Dodger's loss in Game 1 of the World Series. While the Dodger's didn't walk away as winners, Team Plutonium sure did! They did so well, in fact, that they were only 1 answer away from having a completely perfect gaming - Doubling of points included! Hopefully we can see that perfect game come to fruition soon... Kudos to Quiztopher Walken for a solid night of trivia and ending in 2nd place. But the real fun of the night was determining 3rd place as multiple teams were neck and neck. Ultimately it would come down to Round 7 where Rif Rafn would win by just a couple points - congrats! I look forward to normal trivia next week, see you all there.
