Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. We had a busy night and some fun teams! Quiztopher Walken was able to hold down the top spot and taking home the W despite being short by half a team. Diggle Bicks had a successful double mid-game which allowed them to walk away in 2nd place. And even though the Carls stumbled in the final round, it was their round 6 successful Double that landed them in 3rd. Shout out to The Others who were so close to landing in the top 3, they had just 1 incorrect answer during a Double attempt which cost them the game. But they are winners in my heart for Most Fun Team of the night!
