Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. This week of competition was so similar to last week, with the same three tops placing in the Top 3 just shuffling around their positions. Quiztopher Walken returned to play but only as a team of 1... He held on strong and made a valiant effort to place in the top 3, coming up just short of the tasks. We saw a lot of successful Double attempts, and some not so successful Hail Marys. It's lovely to see so many new faces that have become regulars, and I hope you keep coming back each week in pursuit of the top 3... Or the pitcher of beer during the Drinking Round Challenge. This week it went to Daddy after another round of Name That Tune? but Tru Dat and Zack Attack gave them a run for their money. And big thanks to We're Fine, Everything's Fine for the early Valentine's Day treat... my SweeTarts. <3
