Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. We had 9 teams come out to Grunions this Tuesday and they were a fun and knowledgeable group!

Team Rip Tina Marie Carter kept first place all through the game but second and third place swapped around quite a bit! However, Daddy came in second and Team Plutonium landed third place.

However, one of the best moments of the night was our drinking round. Their task was to name as many African countries as possible and I was extremely impressed with how many countries these teams knew! Together, they named 38/54 countries! Some smart cookies if you ask me! But there could only be one winner and that was Team Daddy.

Thanks so much for a fun time at Grunions! It was a joy to sub there.
