Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. They did it!!!!!!!!!! This week is was Tru Dat's turn to not only place in the top 3, but to take home to the top prize!!!!!! Congrats to a hard-fought game. In the final round, which was a struggle for all teams, Tru Dat had to get just ONE answer correct to win, and they miraculously got that ONE answer they needed (I guess none of us played Risk growing up!). Close behind was Team Plutonium who held their own despite being down more than half the team, so kudos to them! And Killer Whales returned this week to land in third place. Congrats to B-Team for winning the Drinking Round Challenge by winning a tournament of Rock, Paper, Scissors! Thanks for a more chill night of trivia - see you all next week!
