Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. It's always fun to recruit new players to trivia - like teams AZZ and Jimmy Johnson Jenkins who had fun turning in answers despite rarely receiving points. It's even more fun when teams have a fun time and return to play in the following weeks - like team My Wife who continues to show up and just narrowly misses the top 3.

Find The Connection proved to be one of the more difficult rounds this week - with only 1 team actually guessing the correct theme, and another team being very close. And while we were slim on the Double attempts in the first half of the game, the Double attempts in the second half of the game would go on to determine out top 3 finishers. Quiz Whalifa ended up on top after a few weeks not placing, with Daddy and Quiztopher Walken taking up the other two spots - no surprise there!
