What a super fun night tonight at Hilawn! It was amazing weather and amazing vibes!! We had some wonderful humans come out for trivia, some steep competition and some excitement to boot! A couple late comers just managed to get their scores in before the end of round 1, and from there it was up and down and back and forth all evening.
We had an early showing from two late teams Late team and Maples, but getting points in early was still managed and that definitely helped in the long run, as well see. Concepts of a llama and across the pond were neck and neck almost all game long! Special shout out to a family company for letting me have some fun with the name! 😁
Bey Hive had a great early start as well as Red team and another special shoutout to chop Suey! For getting a late start but coming back with a vengeance scoring hard the last few rounds!
In the end it was a CLOSE match, Late team secured 3rd by 2 points, as expected (expecting not to do well, but I had confidence!) did BETTER than expected by them winning 2nd!
And the team blowing everyone out of the water, Maples!! Holding onto their 26point lead through most of the late game and even expanding the lead to 28 point to win 1st place!!
Wonderful night, can't wait to see everyone again!
