About Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom

Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom is a craft beer bottle shop and tasting room. We offer 16 rotating taps of Los Angeles-area beer as well as a wide variety of bottles and cans from your favorite independent breweries, which you can purchase to go or to enjoy in-house (with $1.50 corkage).  We also have an open food policy, meaning outside food is welcome and delivery is even encouraged. It's all good!

Located in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, California, our mission is to channel our passion for great beer, community, and create a fun, chill atmosphere for people to hang, drink, shop and debate the deeper mysteries of life...such as who would win in a fistfight between Batman and Captain America? What's the difference between partly cloudy and partly sunny?  If the Zombie Apocalypse started today, what would be your weapon of choice?  Why are there no such thing as B batteries?  If humans evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

Trying Our Best secured a lead as the only team to successfully double down in round 1. It helped keep them in first place despite many teams nipping at their heels. Round five saw 5 teams attempt to double down, none of them successfully due to missing just 1 question. This really evened out the playing field. However, our teams did very well in Round 10 tonight, a geography round, rewarding many teams with 20 points!

Trying Our Best kept their substantial lead throughout but the battle for second was contentious. Handsome Host clinched it with 1 more point than Fear of Commitment!
