QUIZ RECAP

Hellllllo HQ Trivia players and welcome to another week of King Trivia! Tonight we enjoyed another week of trivia, where the fun lasted longer than the first snow here in Denver. Becca was behind the bar serving up the thirsty, knowledgable folk and crushing it, per usual.

We had eight teams playing tonight! In first place, we had Gravel Rabbits, who had previously come from HQ's Delirium Christmas show downstairs. This is the second week in a row a team has place in the top 3 that went to the show... I'm starting to think this is the key to trivia success. Gravel Rabbits did particularly well in the "Guess What?" round, nailing the question at clue #2.

In second place was Freddy Krueger, who started off quite strong, doubling up with a perfect round 1. Can't imagine a better start to the evening, which helped lock in a top 3 start. Rounding out the King Trivia "Medal Podium," was Playa Playa, who beat Eagles for third place with the tiebreaker question. The back-and-forth third/fourth place battle will go down for the record books, as the two teams were neck and neck all night.

A quick shout out to a few other teams: Blue Team won the "Stump the Quizmaster" round and won himself a pickle shot. Not Just Me (the sequel to last week's Just Me) had a massive improvement versus last week AND brought friends to trivia (hence the trivia team name change), which makes them the King Trivia MVP's! Drinkers with a Trivia Problem and Omicron Prime had some extremely entertaining answers, which deserves certainly praise.

Thank you all for coming out to King Trivia this week! As a reminder, we will be starting trivia at 6:30 for the rest of the month due to the Delirium performance at 5pm here at HQ. Looking forward to next week already!
