QUIZ RECAP

It was so great coming out to see Husick's Taphouse, the bar owned by the man who trained me for King Trivia.

Leaderboard positions changed several times. Groups attemped double or nothing for the picture round where everyone was able to grab all the points for that round. In the end, the team "Life of the Donner Party" left with the first place prize of a gift card for Husick's Taphouse. 

Overall, the crowd was wonderful and provided great banter with one another and with the quizmaster. Who knew i'd find such a lively group of teams which leads us toooooo.....

******** Spotlight On Our Teams************
Tonight, I sat down with a wonderful couple who turned out to be my alma mater of UC Davis. One graduated with a B.A. in English and works today as a programmer. His wife, also a UC Davis graduate, worked at a telecommunications company. This couple had dozens of stories from their diving adventures to their tales of fostering cats  with the SPCA. After the competition ended, we swapped stories long after Husick's closed. I've said it before, but it deserves repeating: The best part about being a quizmaster is having the privilege of meeting such fun people.
