About Hyperion Public - Silver Lake

We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

Another stellar night of trivia at Hyperion Public on Monday night. With nineteen teams showing up to strut their stuff, only a single term could emerge to the top of this sweaty, pulsating heap of brain mass: Seize the D. These perennial favorites knocked it out of the park with a hefty amount of competition surrounding them, racking up an incredible 91 points. Just behind them was The Wolf Dicks, with an equally impressive showing of 82 points. Nearly every team doubled on round 7 which is a rare sight, but definitely an exciting one. Props out to Lights, Camera, Apocalypse for winning the drinking round at random out of a four-way tie! Think what you've got it takes to compete at Hyperion? Nah, didn't think so. Chump.
