About Hyperion Public - Silver Lake

We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

Holy Moses, Batman, what a turnout at Hyperion Public last night! At 7:40 pm the place was empty. At 7:45 pm you could barely move. The place filled up faster than any night I had previously seen. The competition was horribly fierce, as Don't Go Jason Waterfalls and Fertile Crescent Rolls vied constantly for the lead. But it was Trash Dogs who took it in a surprise round 7 double. We also had another costume contest hosted by our lovely server Megan, who determined that the theme this week would be "goth." Four teams dressed up some of their members and were met with feverish acclaim from the other patrons. Trash Dogs were the winners of that contest as well, showing they have both beauty and brains. What's not to love about those Trash Dogs?
