QUIZ RECAP

It was a hot one tonight, quiz fans. This QM was getting a workout as, for the first few minutes of the show we were operating…without an app! Not to worry, as this QM has been running trivia shows since before the Internet was even invented. Granted, it meant a bit of running back and forth, but our valiant teams persevered. 

22 teams joined us for an incredible evening of question and answers. Right out the gate, we had a monster tie with our veteran teams and newbies locking down a quick and early double However, Round 2 went to Kingbeez with a great effort, giving them a sparse lead. Only moments later, Quiz Kid Donnie Smith took the top spot with a clutch double down. This was a meat grinder of mental twists and turns. Who would win?

In our Drinking Round, we honored National Bourbon Day with a question about the most expensive bottle of bourbon around (and discounted shots for the whole bar). Quizknows took the win and the free shots!

Following a tense Round 5, the scores were growing ever tighter. Quiz Kid and Kingbeez locked up the top spots, but our fearless fighters were only points away all down from 3rd through 13th! Zohandmeabeer and You Better Knife weren’t leaving without a fight. Surprisingly, the trash talk was kept to minimum, despite this QM instigating at every turn. 

Round 6 saw a major shakeup as You Better Knife clawed their way into first plane, while Yellow Wine Club and Tequila Mockinbird jumped into the 2nd and 3rd place spots! It would all come down to the final round.

After a nail biting tie breaker, we found our winners. Kingbeez earned third place, Yellow Wine Club took 2nd, and Quiz Kid Donnie Smith took third!
