QUIZ RECAP

It was great to be back at JJ Pfister Distillery after a week off (sorry, guys, John Mulaney was in town) and I was happy to see that our teams were not deterred by the inclement weather.  Our categories ranged from real people portrayed on TV (everyone, please watch the HBO miniseries John Adams now if you haven’t already) to a famous novel themed round.  It was a very close game throughout between Team Chad and It's Ben's birthday, he's 43 now (happy 43^rd birthday, Ben!), but late joining team Hoya Saxa proved a strong competition for them.  After team It’s Ben’s Birthday pulled ahead by one point in our penultimate round, it was anybody’s game going into the final round (which involved presidential history, one of my favorite subjects).  In the end, team It’s Ben’s Birthday took the coveted spot of the evening.

Teams It's Ben's birthday, he's 43 now won a special prize of tickets to the Taco Throwdown (a $120 value) while Team Chad received a gift voucher for JJ Pfister!  I look forward to seeing everyone next Thursday at 6:30 when skies will hopefully be clear!
