QUIZ RECAP

We were blessed with a mercifully cool evening for trivia after the oppressive heat of the past few days.  Our intrepid teams were quizzed on a variety of topics that ranged from the seven deadly sins to superheroines.  A golf question also lead to me musing (whether the teams wanted me to or not) whether or not golf is actually a sport or more of an activity.  From the start, this game was a back-and-forth battle for teams The Faculty and Guess Which One’s Adopted and things took an interesting turn when, in the penultimate round, the two teams found themselves in a tie for first place (I’m messy and I live for the drama so I loved it).  After our final round, which asked our teams about the seven deadly sins and Hindu gods, team The Faculty won after Guess Which One’s Adopted took a big swing and a miss for the double or nothing (like Icarus they flew too close to the sun and burned their wings).

Team The Faculty took the coveted top spot of the night and Guess Which One’s Adopted took second place, but both took home gift vouchers for JJ Pfister.  Team Rotary received the mystery bag (and I’m still kicking myself for not finding out what was in it).
