QUIZ RECAP

It was a packed house at JJ Pfister Distilling Company with a patio and dining room filled with eager minds looking to test their trivia might.  Rounds tonight ranged from breakfast cereals (one of my favorite topics of all time) to British royalty.  Returning team Freeze, You’re Under Duress (who changes their name weekly) got off to a very strong start with back-to-back double or nothings.  Things started to pick up in round five for teams Is There a Midwife in the House?, Lavish Display of Ignorance, and Team Yellow Hat (who didn’t wear the yellow hat after which the team is named) after their own successful double or nothing.  By the final round, scores had tightened up considerably, but Freeze, You’re Under Duress was still in the top spot by six points.  Round seven quizzed our teams on the “best” songs by Elton John (according to a Rolling Stone readers’ poll, anyway).

In the end, team Freeze, You’re Under Duress was able to hold onto their lead and claim the coveted first place spot for the second week in a row.  Team Is There a Midwife in the House? took second place while team CLC Queens took the mystery bag home.  Come around on Thursdays at 6:30 for your chance to claim the trivia crown of the week!
