A Night of Emotion

It was a rollercoaster of emotions last night as we were informed that one of the family members of the JP's Sports Bar has passed away. Geno was a man who was loved by all who had an impact on so many lives proven by the many great people who came out to pay their respects. The saying goes a person is only as good as the company he keeps and looking at each person there it shows the greatness of this man. From everyone at King Trivia we would like to send our deepest condolences, prayers, and love to Geno and his extended family. Cheers!

What a nail bitter, from start to finish with this night! In the first round we had a tie for first place with 5 out of the 7 teams doubling up and ending the round with 12 pts. Round two gave us one step closer to having a front runner in this game but it was still neck and neck with 18 pts between "How About Them Bruins" and "Dark N' Stormy Daniels" and a tie for third place with 17 pts between Miss Vanjie and "Baldies and Babes." "How About Them Bruins" jumped into first in round three with a 7 point lead being the only team to successfully double down, but not the only team too secure a position in the top 3 as "Whiskey Business" came from behind and overlapped "Miss Vanjie" and "Baldies and Babes" to secure third with a 19 to 17 lead and having "Stormy Daniels Fucked Up My NCAA Bracket" right behind the with 15. In the guess who round "How About Them Bruins extended their lead by two points. "Dark N Stormy Daniels" wouldn't go down quietly as they dominate the 5th round being the only team to get all of the questions right but it wasn't enough to stop "How About Them Bruins" tallying up a whopping 44 points but still reducing the lead back to a 7 point difference. Round 6 got a little hectic because although "Dark N' Stormy Daniels" did destroy the round doubling down and getting every answer correct increasing their lead to 57 putting them in first place; a recount was requested and after further review the judges recognized that although "Dark N' Stormy Daniels" got every answer right and PWNED that round, it turns out "How About Them Bruins did too and the double or nothing box was accidentally over-looked. This didn't break "Dark N Stormy Daniels" spirit however, instead if anything it fueled their fire as they were the ONLY team to get all 11 of 11 teams that won the Super Bowl only once or twice when we only asked for 10, but unfortunately there are no extra credit points in this quiz, making our champions of the week the dominant, the myth, the legends, "HOW ABOUT THEM BRUINS!!!"
