This may have been our best showing yet!! We had 10 total teams and more players than seats.
For me, tonight was a crossover episode. Monday nights are my karaoke night, and my karaoke crew, including our karaoke host, came to trivia tonight! The roles were reversed with me up on the mic and it was super fun to be reminded of the camaraderie that makes me question why the phrase “Seattle Freeze” even exists.
Some of my favorite answers of the evening included a team answering “Barney” on the dinosaur question, and team Tummycouch mixing up Michael Cage and Nicolas Cage. Who is Michael Cage? No one knows. Also - as it turns out, Beethoven’s first name was not “Neil”.
The Guess Who question this week was a tough one - but we just so happen to be located in Seattle, where Bird played her entire professional career! So the locals knew what was up.
The questions *were* particularly tough ones this evening, but it gave those with niche intelligence a time to shine, and those without a time to come up with some funny answers.
The find the connection round was a tuffy as well, and I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that Team Gorgonzola put that the “connection” between all their answers was that “they were all wrong.”
Also, as it turns out, Beethoven’s first name was not “Neil”!
All in all, great night!
