My first show as a quizmaster! What a wild ride. Jamie and her staff at Leroy's were amazing and all in all the evening was a huge success.

Here's my recap:

  • Teams start to arrive and by 7:00pm Leroy's is packed. Glasses are tinkling and team members are happily chattering amongst themselves.
  • Venue's prize announcements get "oohs and aaahs" and extended happy hour gets a huge round of applause. I guess people like drinking ha!
  • Rules are announced and the games begin!

Round 1

  • Favorite moment: Having to announce what the correct answer for what the fox says...

Round 2

  • Favorite moment: My mother (Louise) arguing with me that the Panama Canal isn't in North America. MAAAAAM

Round 3

  • Favorite moment: Almost every team scoring a perfect score on the Liquor Round. I guess people like drinking ha!

Round 4

  • Favorite moment: Having to explain the rules of this round 6-7 times. I guess people like drinking.... ha.

Round 5

  • Favorite moment: Humpty Dumpty going huge with a double or nothing for a 20 point round!

Round 6

  • Favorite moment: Realizing that Sub-Zero IS voiced by Luke Perry.

Round 7

  • Favorite moment: Thanking all the teams personally table by table for coming out and having a great first King Trivia.
