About Longship Brewery

Since the 9th century, the Viking longship has been a symbol and a vessel of exploration, trade, and cultural exchange. The pride of the nordic people was their ability to cross the oceans in ways that no other people had done before. With the curiosity of the unknown, this guided them to uncover the world's riches, solidifying their place in history.

Something of a surprise with Trivia at Longship this week. Some ghosts of trivia past showed up to guide eight teams through a night of trivia. Would they share in the joy of learning about the miracle of trivia? Or would they get Scrooged by the miser trivia fates?

Norse Code and the 4 Norsemen of the Apocalypse, two rival clans came with a full armament of weapons in the form of knowledge, as they battled fiercely throughout the evening. Right at their heels were both Shortboat Winery and the Indifferent Penguins who stayed competitive for the duration.

Through waves of questions regarding TV, things created in the 90s, stars (both the celestial and celebrial kind,) Norse Code proved to be the victors.

For our beer round, we also asked our teams to imagine that they were rock bands, and they had to draw a CD cover. We attached our winner as a picture, and that was Redeem Team, for their album: Redeemer.
