The evening started like any other with players and teams excited to have a fantastic trivia evening but double down drama threw the game for a loop!
The first round started with Flag Hags and Lime Skittles both winning on their double downs as part of their show down. Team Hot Pockets got a perfect score but didn't double down and was now in catch-up mode.
Not wanting to miss their chance to gain some ground, Hot Pockets scored on their double down in the second round but the fearless Lime Skittles doubled down again to maintain the lead.
In the fifth round, things really heated up with Lime Skittles taking a big lead on their 3rd double down of the night! Flag Hags attempted to catch-up with a double down of their own but missed one question and ended up with 0 points instead of 20.
From there, no one could catch the Lime Skittles and Hot Pockets were able to hold onto 2nd place with Flag Hags coming in 3rd. It's safe to say that the rivalry between these teams is heating up and don't be surprised if Flag Hags come back next week with a furious focus ready to take 1st place.
