Host Kyle is back and stronger than ever! After a one-week break from UpRoar due to the holidays, Kyle has been doing pushups and petting dogs. But now, he's back! And what a homecoming trivia night we had. 9 teams competed for the top 3 prizes of $25, $15, and $10 gift cards. Pilsner Boys, AKA our lovely bar staff, got off to an early lead with a double in round 2...and did not look back! Achieving 3 successful doubles thru the evening they powerhoused their way to a victory with a 10 point lead over 2nd place, all while serving beers! However, gracious as they are, they did not accept first-place money so were champions in title only. The competition for the first place gift card was fierce. Houskey, NachoChips, and BroncoBuddies were back and forth the entire evening. Housekey went into the lead in round 5 with a double but was springboarded backward after missing a double in round 6. NachoChips and Bronco buddies both doubled in round 6 so they flip-flopped with Houskey. However, in the final round, Housekey was brave enough to double and risk it all, and it paid off! Successfully naming the 3 gremlin rules, and the 8 rules of fight club, they locked down a 22 point round and claimed the $25 gift card. Nacho chips in 2nd with a $10 gift card, and Bronco Buddies for $10. Great game everyone!
