QUIZ RECAP

The food and drinks were flowing and so were the correct answers! A tight game developed during round 1 as teams answered questions ranging in topics from the Food Network to the moons of Neptune! Several tricky questions stumped the crowd, but thankfully everyone seemed to be up on their state capitals by correctly recalling Providence as the capital of Rhode Island.

Round two created some separation as teams were challenged with the task of listing caricatures of celebrities from the hit show South Park. Whiskey Quizness was not only the first team to hand in their answers, but they successfully identified all 8 and doubled it down! Oddly enough, many teams confused Caitlyn Jenner with Sarah Huckabee Sanders. You can't make this stuff up!

Creeping closely behind was Bird Nest Soup, who converted a double down in round 3 to claim second place. The top three teams started to separate from the pack by round 6 as both Bird Nest Soup AND Schrodinger's Cats & Dogs nailed the matching round by correctly identifying the screen partner to the famous newscaster. This group seems to watch a lot of SNL it looks like.

The rankings held true throughout the end. Apparently we've got quite the group of meat eaters at Malainey's too! Every team nailed the "most consumed meats" question with many including the correct seafood! Thankfully Malainey's was there to help and serve up some delicious dishes to combat the hunger-induced trivia questions!
