QUIZ RECAP

We had eleven teams in total, though two teams joined midgame so we only started with nine - regardless it was a packed bar and a heated game with a lot of action throughout!

In round one, we had only one attempt at a double-or-nothing, which FlyAF missed! Starting off slow would not hold them back, though.

Rounds 2 and 3 saw a lot of doubling action - Team 48 and Is It In successfully doubled 2 while First One Here, Team Who Must Not Be Named and FlyAF doubled in 3, putting lots of teams in contention for really competitive scores.

Round 4 saw FlyAF continue to nail it as the only team to pick up the clue on the 8-pointer. This proved a challenging one in general!

Round 5 saw one of our teams join the game and try to get on the board with a double but it was Team Who Must Not Be Named and Darts that managed the double. However, TWMNBN missed a double in 6 while FlyAF continued to dominate with a double in six and seven! Round 7 cemented the victory of FlyAF and saw several teams attempt the double to keep up with them but they just could not be caught.

Yours truly was granted the boon to also name a Best Team Name for a bar prize, and since I'm a sucker for meta names I went with The First One Here, though TWMNBN, that is pretty clutch as well. FlyAF and The First One Here are pictured here.
