Who ended up on the King Trivia throne this past Tuesday night at Mikkeller DTLA? All the lords and ladies of the area were in attendance to battle it out for King Trivia supremacy. Throughout 5-rounds, Philly Angelenos (a one-man team who learned his skills from MIT and Duke) was in the lead. However, a perfectly timed Double-Down by Menace II Sobriety and Regulators Mount Up in round 6, made clear that the battle for the crown was far from over. A late push by Bacon on the Side, made things even more interesting. Menace II Sobriety managed to claw their way into third, moments after winning the sacred beer round. The battle for the crown was decided by only two points. Philly Angelenos may have fallen short (stabbed in the heart) but their keen display of intellect will never be forgotten. The crown this week, was won by the team with the best story. Bron the Broken would have happily crowned Regulators Mount Up, if he could have gotten out of his chair. Alas, he could not. Not to worry, as the team was handsomely rewarded with beer, t-shirts, and gold coin. Who will capture the crown next Tuesday?
