About Mollusk

Mollusk opened on Halloween 2015. We are South Lake Unions newest and oldest brewpub. We focus on the craft of brewing and cooking, utilizing modern technologies and improvements to the industry while honoring time-tested technique and methods.

 

Being in the Northwest means we have access to wonderful produce and use local sourced products as much as possible. Our menu changes with the seasons and we serve as much food from scratch as we can, whether it be charcuterie, bread or vinegar.

In an exciting evening that did not face the pressure of needing to be better than an NBA finals game it was a repeat victory for the Smartinis who were able to pace the field with a solid 61 points. The bar had never been busier on a Monday evening that did not have Monday Night Football, and as a result the trivia participants were rabidly attempting to best each other on the mental playing field known as Mollusk.

In second was the solid, if not spectacular, team in the Master Debaters, who despite their name, were unable to persuade the judges to give them the bonus points they so-needed to win. In bronze finish was Team Lorek, who for a second straight week was right in the running for the win right up to the end of the game.

Overall this was one of the best, in a field of many "bests," for Mollusk for trivia on a beautiful rainy...ish, Monday night. Join us again down the line as we plan on having even better participation, and more great beers to drink!
