QUIZ RECAP

Over the last two weeks at Oddwood Brewing, it felt as if some of the natural rhythms had been disrupted. We saw a new team, "Of Unknown Disposition," join the challenge and take third, then the next week claim an outstanding victory by margin to put Oddwood on notice that there may be some new fighters joining the rumble. But this week, they were absent, perhaps still hungover from the champagne showers, or maybe just busy with an elementary holidy pageant. There was no report on the cause of their absence, but it seemed their two week cameo had built more tension within the walls of Oddwood, and in the result of their absence, an eruption of aggressive gameplay, and maybe even rivalries ensued. 

Frequent winners, "John Wilkes Booth Can Suck My Fat Lincoln Log," are always in a knock out back and forth between other top performers "Team Juan" and "The Who Dat Nation," However, it was a midranking team this week that made a challenge beyond trivia knowledge, but just what's the better building block John Wilkes Booth can suck. "John Wilkes Booth Can Suck My Teeny Tiny Lego Brick" made an effort to get in the heads of the slumping scholars, but instead the "Logs" came out shredding the compeition the first two rounds. "Team Juan" and "Quizzie McGuire" treaded in the top 3 early on separating the "Booth Bowl" brewing on Lager Lane, and as the night went on, it wasn't the "Booth's" who were fighting for glory, but it was the perennial placers, "Team Juan" and "The Who Dat Nation" looking to pull the first place team down by their beard. Going into the last round it was "Team Juan" with the 7 point lead, but "Lincoln Log" linkin parked themselves atop the pedestal this evening. "Team Juan" claimed second, and "The Who Dat Nation" settle in comfortable at third. 

We'll be back next week, where it won't just be a battle of toys, but we'll also have a battle of the ugliest Christmas sweater, as chosen by King Trivia.
