This week at Oddwood Brewing slaying the top competition was proven mystifying. Last week's winner, "John Wilkes Booth Can Suck My Fat Lincoln Log," seemed as though they were having their nails filed by assistants as they made their way to another first place victory. They are shaping themselves up for greater glory, shooting for a top 5 national ranking within King Trivia's Winter League Play. Even their weekly rival, "Team Juan," who coasted into a second place victory this week, seemed to have no answer that could propel them to scoring that "Booth" was reaching. While the First and Second seemed to be carved in from the first round, the battle for bronze shifted between "Of Unknown Disposition," "Stay at Home Daddies," and "Foolish Juan'd Wavers." Newcomers to the Oddtagon, "Newbies" and "The Cloak of Inquizability" struggled early on, and were unfortunately never able to settle their feet underneath to gain traction. In the end, it was "Of Unknown Disposition" who edged out the "Stay at Home Daddies," for moment of glory on the podium. We have eleven days left for league play, but we will see you back for our final game next week.
