It was a high-stakes kind of night with 6 competitive teams and a whole lot of double downs flying across the score sheets!

Right out of the gate, Sushi Grade Man Meat and Alternative Facts both hit successful doubles in Round 1, setting the tone for a game of bold moves. Sushi kept the momentum going with another double down in Round 2, launching themselves into a strong early lead.

But Alternative Facts weren’t backing down—they saved their power move for Round 6, doubling down again and closing the gap in a dramatic push for the top spot. Suddenly, it was a neck-and-neck race to the finish!

For the drinking round, we got practical with a timely challenge: Guess the average cost of back-to-school shopping per kid. Most were shocked to hear the answer—$570 per child, contributing to a nationwide spend of $35 billion. Now that's a lot of pencils and plaid!

In the end, it came down to a showdown of space smarts, with Alternative Facts blasting off to 1st place thanks to some impressive astronaut trivia. Sushi Grade Man Meat held on for a well-earned 2nd place finish.
