QUIZ RECAP

At this week's King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night, we talked about golfers, dust, winners, fruit, Oxford, and Monopoly, and we payed a tribute to King Trivia's new game, Survey Slam during the Drinking Round!

I happened to go to the debut game of King Trivia's new format Survey Slam last week and it was a blast! In honor of that game, for the Drinking Round, trivia teams had to send up one member to play in a head to head fast money tournament. Each player would have to "buzz in" by hitting the table they were standing next to. I would read a statement or question that was asked to 100 people, and whoever guessed the more popular answer, would move on to the next round. It came down to two teams The Name is Trivia, Pub Trivia, and Barry Macockener. Barry Macockener buzzed in with the number one answer the quickest and they won the Drinking Round! Way to go!

Coming in 3rd place, scoring 54 points and taking home the $10 gift certificate, was team Xenomorph! They kicked butt! Way to go!

In 2nd Place, scoring 58 points, and taking home the $20 gift certificate, were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! They were able to get the correct answer for the Guess Who Round on the 10 point clue, and successfully doubled down on Round 6 to help them lock down that 2nd Place prize!

And last but not least of course, Bristol Fashion took home the 1st place prize of a $30 gift certificate but scoring a whopping 66 points! They successfully doubled down on Rounds 5 and 6 to propel them to victory!
