QUIZ RECAP

Who knew that you could go to Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia, and be able to hear movie pitches, win shots, watch sports, and answer a bunch of fun trivia questions all in one night? Well that's the kind of entertainment you will get every Wednesday night!

For the Drinking Round this week, teams had to send a member up too pitch their best movie ideas in 60 seconds. We heard movies about quizmaster Danny fighting off an evil empire to rescue princess Kayla, the bartender at Pickwick's Pub. We heard about a rom com about a recently married couple that takes a cruise on a Mexican Riviera and starts having some marital problems while on the cruise that would cause them to question their nuptials. But after the wife gets kidnapped, her husband has to try and find her, and realizes while looking all the reasons he married her in the first place. They both rekindle their love and solidifies their relationship when he finally is able to rescue his wife. We also heard from another team who teamed up John Wick, John McClane, and Rick from Rick and Morty to travel through space time to battle a Cthulhu. Ultimately, the winner were the Killer B's with their romantic comedy movie. It was the most thought out and had the best plot. They won the round of shots! Excellent job to all teams that participated!

We also had to have a tiebreaker for 2nd and 3rd place, as both the Mighty Mighty Puffins, and the Killer B's scored 43 points! Their tiebreaker question was, how many minutes long is the "Super Duper Cut" of Deadpool 2? The Puffins guessed 132 minutes, and the B's guessed 120. They were both close guesses, but the correct answer was 134 minutes, so the Puffins won the 2nd place prize of a $20 gift certificate, and the Killer B's won the 3rd place, $10 gift certificate, and the Drinking Round! Great job by both teams!

Coming in 1st place and taking home the $30 gift certificate, were Hanky Panky, who scored 57 points helped by correctly answering all 10 answers in the final round! Awesome job Hanky's!

And yet again another Wednesday of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills has passed, but don't fret because there will be more King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills next Wednesday night of course! See you then!
