About Pioneer Square D&E

D&E is a family-run small neighborhood restaurant that is passionate about supporting the Pioneer Square community.

 

Husband and wife owners, Jonathan Fleming & Libby Aker are well ingrained in the Seattle restaurant industry with a combined 30 years of experience. They hail from some of the city’s best, well established restaurants. After living and working in Pioneer Square for several years, they fell in love with the sense of community, camaraderie and history that Seattle’s oldest neighborhood embodies. Opening D&E has been a lifelong goal of the couple, creating a welcoming neighborhood spot with an approachable menu and affordable pricing.

Tonight, I had the wonderful opportunity to go downtown and host trivia here at Pioneer D&E! A very nice venue. Brought my son who wanted to assist me with the correcting and scoring again.

We started off with 4 teams: The Return of Turbin and Marshawn, Snow Shoe, Cat, and D & E Crew!

Snow Shoe did not intend to play but when we started, they wanted in on the fun. And glad they did because they took the lead in Round #1, getting all the answers correct and doubling down! Everyone scored the same number of points in Round #2. Through the rest of the night, Snow Shoe kept the lead for every round. In the "Guess Who" Round #4, D & E Crew went in on the 10 point clue and got those points, almost catching up to the lead. We had to say farewell to Cat after Round #4. The 3 teams were left from this point forward. Everyone doubled or nothing in Round #7. At the end, it was The Return of Turbin and Marshawn in 3rd place, D & E Crew in 2nd, and Snow Shoe in 1st!

It was a fun night of Christmas Trivia here at Pioneer D&E!
