D&E is a family-run small neighborhood restaurant that is passionate about supporting the Pioneer Square community.

 

Husband and wife owners, Jonathan Fleming & Libby Aker are well ingrained in the Seattle restaurant industry with a combined 30 years of experience. They hail from some of the city’s best, well established restaurants. After living and working in Pioneer Square for several years, they fell in love with the sense of community, camaraderie and history that Seattle’s oldest neighborhood embodies. Opening D&E has been a lifelong goal of the couple, creating a welcoming neighborhood spot with an approachable menu and affordable pricing.

Much like Apollo Creed and Rocky Balboa, This is Grey and Ray's of Light slugged it out in the ring that is Pioneer Square D & E on New Year's Eve Eve.

Punches were thrown (metaphorically) and mighty blows landed (still metaphorically) with equal ferocity on both sides, but a bloodied This is Grey took the Apollo Creed role, beating Ray's of Light's Rocky (or, you know, switch them if you're watching the sequel).

But in the end the two teams both walked out with prizes and later became the best of friends... I'm guessing. But they seemed to know each other prior to the night so there's good chance those seeds have already started to sprout. Regardless, it was a great close to King Trivia in 2019!
