Competitions have always been defined by their great rivalries. Magic vs. Bird. Ali vs. Frazier. And now, at King Trivia Mondays at Prince O’ Whales, another legendary rivalry has emerged: Linguine vs. A Tribe Called Quiz! So far, their showdowns have resulted in 6 first-place finishes, and their streak of top-3 finishes is just as impressive. When such a mélange of mental mastery makes so massive a mark, can any competitor come close?

Turns out, yes! Round 1 concluded with both teams completing perfect rounds, resulting in a tie… with The Grateful Dead Kennedys, a new team consisting of a single player! The 3 teams dominated throughout, utilizing an impressive number of successful doubles. The Quiz and the Dead ended several rounds in a tie, with Linguine just slightly behind. Our lone warrior finally broke into the lead in Round 6… by a single point! It all came down to a final round of recent Disney films. Linguine boldly doubled… and settled for 3rd place. The final margin of victory was 2 points - and The Grateful Dead Kennedys‘ valiant effort ended in a 2nd place finish, with A Tribe Called Quiz taking another victory!
