About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

Holden Caulfield (aka 7 other literary names throughout the night) got to experience the glorious taste of victory after a long history of third place finishes, and all it took was the largest point total in Rasselbock trivia history. Successful double-or-nothings in rounds 2, 5, and 6, along with a 10-point Guess Who round brought them the impressive 83 point total. Not too far behind, however, were Quizmasters--who finished with 72 even after a failed double in the final round.

Speaking of failed doubles, there were a lot of them. Only two teams registered points in the final round, as teams' overconfidence in their knowledge of Life Savers colors created pure carnage. Round Three also had three failed doubles, as teams confused their Bush presidents.

Mike Tyson's Speech School couldn't continue their winning streak, but they still made the podium with a solid third place finish.
