QUIZ RECAP

Another splendid night of trivia at Red Star! So much fun and so much entertainment. We got a bunch of rad teams out for Margaritas and to test out their skills. Now lemme give you some of the highlights of the round. 

   Teams had guess the famous folks either named Peter, Paul or Mary. There was a talk show related round. I think i will now refer Connie Chung as "Mommy Povich" thanks to team Gator Nuggies. Y'all are too extra! Fast and Furious franchise star Eva Mendes was the profiled person in the "Guess Who" round. All the answers for "Find the Connection" were all Beatles song titles. The very first "Drinking Round" was a huge hit. Players had to draw out Mickey Mouse by memory. E9 on Draft did what i thought the best version of Mickey and earn themselves a round a slushie Margarita shots. In the final round of the night, contestants had to list off 10 UN states that begin with the letter "N". Now, on to the winners of the night. 

   In third place with 40 points was 2+2=5. Quizzards came in second with 50 points. And the first place winners are still Red Star's reigning champs. It's Baby Sloth earning a grand total 62 points. Props to all the teams who won the night's prizes. 

   It's such an honor to host trivia at such an awesome place. I have regulars and new faces that are always down to play. It's been a month since I became a quizmaster and I'm really feeling comfortable in my role. I wanna thank the contestants who participated. You guys are the ones who make it all worth it.
