The night of Trivia held on 12/20/21 was truly one to behold -- A night of laughs, birthdays, a myriad of techinal difficulties, but most importantly... Trivia! A mere handful of days before Christmas, and yet the Holiday Spirit was nowhere to be found. Instead, the feeling that filled Remant Brewing that evening was one of pure, unwavering competition. A duel commenced between between Team "Phage Attack" and Team "Lebkuchen Cookies," and the prize they sought to capture was sweeter and more priceless than any gift that could be given on the 25th; the two teams battled to see who would claim the rights to the 1st place gift card and who would be demoted to the 2nd place gift card, but more importantly, they dueled over the much adored bragging rights to the title of Trivia Champion. However, the stakes grew even greater once the room was made aware that Team "Lebkuchen Cookies" was also celebrating one of their members birthdays at the time, so not only were they playing for the ever-so-coveted 1st place position but also for the honor of their friend's birthday. The match was uncomfortably close the entire ride through,  but even more so when entering the final round. Tensions blew through the roof of Remnant Brewing once it was announced that both teams were tied entering the final round. This was it! The fate of the two teams was now reliant on their knowledge of Will Smith Films. Sweat filled the brow of all the contestants as they attempted to file through the rolodex of his movies in their mind. Eventually, it came time to review answers and crown a winner. It seemed as though Team "Phage Attack" called on the assistance of a Genie to help them overcome Team "Lebkuchen Cookies" in the end as they were able to recall that Will Smith was in-fact in the most recent adaption of Aladdin, which gave them a one point advantage leaving the final round as they were crowned Champions of the night.
