Team Goldsmith shot out of the gate with a big double or nothing, securing themselves an early lead that they were able to maintain for the bulk of the evening. Triviasaurus Rex, the one-man dynamo, found his footing after a few shaky early rounds and clawed from the back of the pack up to second place. However, all heads turned to Chicken Muffin Cycling Team after they exploded into a powerful position with a successful double or nothing on the matching round. Going into the final round, it was anyone's game. In fact, it was anyone's game even after the final round - round 7 ended in a tie between Chicken Muffin Cycling Team and Goldsmith. In the end, Chick Muffin Cycling Team astounded the bar with their wealth of Pokemon knowledge and secured the tie breaker round as well as the game.
