One team probably Googled “How to win trivia without actually knowing anything.” Let’s break it down round-by-round, like a sad piñata full of obscure facts.
Round One
Leaders: There’s No Crying in Trivia, KABAM!, The B Sharps, British Invasion
Subject: General Knowledge
This round was like the opening credits of a sitcom—everyone had their moment in the spotlight. Four teams shared the top, and for a minute it looked like we were headed toward a diplomatic trivia utopia. Then things got real.
Round Two
Leaders: The B Sharps, There’s No Crying in Trivia
Subject: Characters with Glasses
Vision was 20/20 for The B Sharps and There’s No Crying in Trivia, who clearly spent more time watching cartoons and Harry Potter than making friends in high school. Everyone else squinted in shame.
Round Three
Leader: There’s No Crying in Trivia
Subject: People Who Appear on Currency
Apparently this team moonlights as amateur numismatists. They identified presidents, poets, and one Canadian goose. Everyone else thought Sacagawea was just a camping gear brand.
Round Four
Leaders: KABAM!, British Invasion
Subject: Guessing John Travolta as the Mystery Person
In a wild twist, two teams managed to connect the dots between disco, Scientology, and Saturday Night Fever. The rest were still stuck guessing “Nicolas Cage” for every hint.
Round Five

Subject: Find the Connection (Enneagram Personality Types)
There’s No Crying in Trivia found their inner selves—and everyone else’s. They solved the Enneagram puzzle faster than you can say “Type 7 with a wing of smug.”
Drinking Round
Winner: There’s No Crying in Trivia
Subject: Rain
Rain trivia? More like a monsoon of correct answers from our reigning champs. They soaked up the booze and the points, leaving everyone else drier than a British comedy.
Round Six

Subject: Matching Round About One-Hit Musical Artists
They knew their Chumbawambas from their Baha Men. The rest of the teams learned that “Didn’t they also sing something else?” is never the right answer.
Round Seven
Leader: There’s No Crying in Trivia
Subject: Astronauts, and Florida
With a strange yet poetic combination of space travelers and swamp humidity, the final round was dominated once again by the trivia juggernauts. Clearly, they’ve been training for this with reruns of Jeopardy and Space Coast Live.
Final Verdict:
There may be no crying in trivia, but there was definitely no mercy either. Better luck next week, everyone. Bring tissues.
