Dear Recap,

Y'all are not gonna believe this night.

First, due to what I'm hoping was some universal fluke, all the teams arrived late. No biggie, I'm just glad you all did it together, and we all started round 1 at the same time.

Second, my loyal microphone just couldn't take the pressure of living in the '90s anymore and took a swan dive off the table into microphone heaven. Thankfully, the five teams understood and gathered around the speakers so they could hear me better. Warmed my heart a little (though that was possibly the pizza).

Then, in the final round, THREE of our top teams attempted to get that last double. Perpetually Second Place, in their eagerness, submitted ten answers instead of nine (naturally number ten being wrong) and almost lost the entire game. However, the error was caught and they can rest easy knowing they were, in the end, correct. And in third place.

Special commendation to our winners, the Mothers of Invention! They doubled successfully in four out of the six possible rounds to double in. They earned it, and may they reign in joy.
