QUIZ RECAP

Well, we had quite the Laborious Labor Day special at Roccos in Pasadena! I, Quizmaster Ben Benjamins Esq. took our wonderful attendees through 8 rounds of delight. Some of the hardest questions I've read so far in my (short) career as quizmaster, questions that I found myself googling before the game just out of sheer curiosity...

Plus, we had a HUGE turnout...I almost thought we wouldn't have a game, but then a SLEW of new players showed up just as we kicked off round one! We even had some mid-game players join that didn't do well, but had a ton of fun. And that's the whole point of the game, right?!

We also had some disappointed players who learned that the 4th round was NOT the drinking round, but we had a special for them for Labor Day: name the TV bosses...we had quite a few name common ones, a few I had to google, and even one team put damn near every game of thrones character...I'll give ya John Snow, but that's about it...seems like everyone bosses everyone else around on that show! Needless to say, winners of the drinking round and the main game were both the Mothers of Invention with 50 points!
