King Trivia kicked off the Fourth of July festivities with yet another showstopping game at Shadow Grove Brewing on Thursday night, where 12 teams competed for glory (and beer coupons) in the best place to be in the San Fernando Valley. Competitors tested their smarts when it came to famous Megans, U.S. President nicknames, Rihanna songs, and much more across seven rounds of trivia. While teams had tied scores throughout most of the night, our last two rounds saw three teams break away from the pack to claim our top prizes. In third place at 40 points, the regular champs Group B took home two coupons for a total of $10 off the delicious brews on tap at Shadow Grove, while the dynamic trio over at Gin & Panic took home second place at 45 points with $15 worth of coupons. But nobody could stop the fierce and fabulous duo Mmm Whatcha Sayyy, who took home the crown with an impressive 52-point total and $25 worth of coupons.
