QUIZ RECAP

Welcome back!

KING Trivia was back at it at our usual spot, Spud Monkey's on Tuesday. It was a nice time to be out avoiding the rain, grabbing a bite to eat, and a drink or two with family or friends.

This week did not disappoint. We had 2 new teams join us for the very first time. Please join me in giving Schools Out and 5 non-blondes a very warm King Trivia welcome!

Hit it & Quidditch was back in the house this week. We missed them last week. And of course Witless Wonders were back to defend their crown and maintain the winning streak.

Round 1 started off with blast between the opposing teams. Hit It & Quidditch and Schools Out put 3 points on the board. Witless Wonders and 5 non-blondes jumped on the board with 4 points. 

Very much anybody's game from round one on.

Round 2 Schools Out sharpened their pencil despite being away from school and added 7 points for a total 10. Hit It & Quidditch added 5 points for a total of 8. 5 non-blondes matched the energy of Schools Out and put 7 more on their score for a total 12. Witless Wonders added 6 points for a total 11. 

We already knew this was going to be a close one!

Round 3 is where the plot thickens. 

Witless Wonders showed off their mental muscles by correctly answering all 6 questions and double it up for an additional 12 points. They ended round 3 with 22 points. Schools Out added 4 points for a total of 14. 5 non-blondes added 6 more points bringing their total to 17. And Hit It & Quidditch added 4 points, totaling 12 points by the end of the round.

Round 5 Witless Wonders came out swinging and completed another perfect round for 10 points and also doubled it to make it total 20 additional points! 5 non-blondes added 8 points as did Hit It & Quidditch.

As many games do, it came down to the final round, round 7.  Hit It & Quidditch added 4 points the last round and ended the night with 24 points. 5 non-blondes added 20 points in round 6 and 4 points in round 7, bringing their final total to 60 points. Schools Out added 10 points in round 6 and 20 points in round 7 bringing their final score to 61 points and second place victory. Congratulations Schools Out for showing out! 

And your reigning King Trivia champion, Witless Wonders!  Witless Wonders added 10 for both round 5 and 6 and ended the night with 68 points and the 1st place crown!
