QUIZ RECAP

Had a week off and had a great family vacation in Hilton Head South Carolina. Sincere thanks to Quizmaster Lauren for filling in for me and doing a great job!

Well we had a real nice turnout with 9 teams vigorously competing to get their picture with IronMan. Round 1 saw We Suck At Trivia and Two Stooges ace all 6 and get the 2 extra points for being registered. Pandemonium took a risk in round 3 and doubled but missed 1 and got the big goose egg! They would hang tough however and were in the hunt for the remainder of the game. One of our regulars Great Minds Drink Alike got off to a slow start, very unusual for them and had no choice but to double in Round 5. Sadly they also missed a few and had to take zero for that round. It was a pretty tight between the top 5 teams heading into Round 6 and as I said Pandemonium successfully doubled to put them right in the thick of it.

Interesting side note, 6 of the 9 teams got the Guess Where answer on the 10 point clue, a rare occurrence.

It was a 5 team race heading into the final round and wound up with Crew Without A Clue taking 1st place but 1 point ahead of TriviaAmigos! We Suck At Trivia once again proved they do not suck and came in 3rd and got themselves a $10 gift certificate to Strand Brewing Co. Another of our regulars Sam's Family finished with a strong 47 and Sam was very happy.

It was a very fun evening and I appreciate the enthusiasm of all the teams and their continued support
