Our trivia players excelled at celebrity dental work and NASA-themed questions, but weren't too wild about presidential slogans or island populations.
Golden Psyllids, Lunchable Lemons, The Pink Ladies, and The Strangers tried their hand at King Trivia for the first time, and they all did great! We were sad to see Golden Psyllids leave early when they were tied for first place after Round 5, but we hope they'll be back when they don't have any prior commitments. The Strangers started too late and The Pink Ladies left too early to make it to the scoreboard, but their efforts were nothing short of valiant!
Lunchable Lemons scored just barely above Meeseeks and Destroy (who weren't confident enough to double down on general knowledge, which cost them an extra $10). They also won a free appetizer/dessert coupon for being able to recall the most items on Eartha Kitt's Christmas wishlist for her Santa baby. Not bad for King Trivia virgins!
Brochachos and Chas reigned supreme by doubling down on their Sesame Street connections, which was enough to shoot them to the top. This win was a blessing after a double down faux pas in Round 3, where they confused Frank Sinatra's similarly named song "Come Fly With Me" with "Fly Me To The Moon."
