BDB uses only whole ingredients to make everything from scratch&by hand-condiments,dressings,sausage,lox,pastries,cakes,breadsNo fakes,noGMO,no chemicals.
To be sure, Hodge Podge had a lock on first place this week at The Back Door Bakery and Cafe. But bubbling just below the surface was a tremendous battle for winner circle glory among three formidable teams.
The final scores look like stairsteps (43/42/40) with Shana Maidelas edging out Lady Samurai by just a single point! To complete the troika of competent competitors, The Late Birds were within two points of the leaders at game's end, and were poised to topple the Shanas and Samurai if there had been another round!
Perhaps next week, Late Birds? I have a hunch when they win (which they certainly will at some point soon) they may reveal themselves to be Mocking Birds - the way they trash talk the other teams all the time!!
Okay, I made that up. The Late Birds (photo #7 above) are a class act who would never mock anyone! I shouldn't have said that, and I'm ashamed of myself! (No I'm not. They're tough. They can take it!)
